Testnet Faucet
Umbra runs on Flare Coston2. The Faucet page helps you get the three supported testnet assets.
What you can get
| Asset | Name | Decimals |
|---|---|---|
C2FLR | Coston2 Flare — native gas token | 18 |
FXRP | FAssets XRP — real bridge | 6 |
USDT0 | Tether USD — testnet | 6 |
These are real Coston2 assets minted by Flare’s own faucet. FXRP in particular comes from the actual FAssets bridge, not a simulated mint.
How it works
The page deep-links to Flare’s faucet rather than minting anything itself — the point of this app is genuine FAssets integration, not a fake token.
When you open the faucet link from an asset card, Umbra records your current balance as a baseline and starts watching. It polls every 5 seconds and refetches the moment you tab back in, so the card flashes Received as soon as tokens land. No manual balance checking.
Requirements
- Wallet connected
- Network set to Flare Coston2, chain ID
114
Balances only load on Coston2; on any other network the cards stay inert.
USDC is not available. There’s no official USDC on Coston2 yet. The page shows it as coming soon rather than faking a mint, and a clearly-labeled testnet mock will ship if and when it’s needed.
